Card pockets and door alignment

A card pocket built close to the closing edge lifts that door once a card is inserted, and the two doors no longer meet evenly. We move the pocket's fixing layer away from the closing edge so the card adds no thickness at the seam. This will not show up on an empty sample. We check closure with the actual card fitted.

Board, facing, and insert

We build this box on 1400 g greyboard with 157 g textured facing. Inside, velvet-lined EVA holds two bottles in separate wells located at the shoulder and base, with a divider between bottles. That four-point support matters. Two-bottle boxes should never rely on insert friction alone.

Consistency control across a run

We hold colour with Pantone matching, first-article approval, and in-run sampling. Magnet strength is matched on both doors. Our control tolerance is plus or minus 1 mm on inserts and plus or minus 2 mm on the box body. Black, deep blue, and burgundy are the hardest colours to hold consistent across a run, so those jobs get extra attention at sampling.

One box body, many cards

If you run several corporate clients from one box, keep the box body unchanged and change only the printed card. That keeps tooling and setup stable. The pocket alignment fix matters more here because the card is the only variable customers change between runs, and we check closure with the fitted card every time.
